Bio
Born in North Carolina, Roberts lives and works in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. She was awarded a 2024 Gottlieb Individual Support Grant and a 2024 grant from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation. She has exhibited widely in New York City and throughout the US, with recent solo shows at Minus Space and 57W57 Arts, and group shows in venues including the Brooklyn Museum, Marlborough Gallery, McKenzie Fine Art, Deanna Evans Projects, Markel Fine Arts, and Pierogi Gallery in NYC. Her work has been supported by residencies at Yaddo, Ucross, Ragdale, Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, Vermont Studio Center, Monson Arts, Willapa Bay AIR, and the Marble House Project. Roberts has an MFA from Queens College and a BA from Yale, and attended Skowhegan and the New York Studio School. She is Professor Emerita at Pratt Institute, where she taught for 35 years.
